Mr. Christian Broadwell, Chief Executive Officer, Pilot

The cornerstone of Realty Pilot is Christian Broadwell, CEO and creator. With an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age, Christian purchased his first investment property at 19 years of age, and continued to invest in real estate prior to becoming a Realtor in 2003. His first successful career began in 1985 as a contract engineer in the aerospace industry, where he held secret clearance qualifications for government aerospace projects. Christian brings 17 years of profitable aerospace and semiconductor sales engineering and management experience. As an engineer, in 2000, he was the top sales producer, personally generating $60 million in sales for Huntair, Inc.

Christian has applied these engineering and management skills along with his expertise in databases to guide the creation of Realty Pilot's realty technology solutions. He is also the sole owner of AZCO Properties, which operates as a virtual brokerage. In less than 18 months, Without any prior REO market experience Broadwell’s AZCO Properties became one of the largest REO brokerages in the Arizona market. With his vast engineering background, Christian developed a streamlined workflow management system, using Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic, and applied it to his own real estate business, starting in 2003, making him a $ multimillion producer each year. 

Not only has Christian been an accomplished winner in business, he is also a high achiever in his personal passions. Away from the office, Christian enjoys training and competing in triathlons, duathlons and mountain bike races. He also enjoys more leisurely activities like hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and wine-tasting.

Christian has competed in The Xterra Offroad triathlon regionals and championships; several Iroman races including Ironman Austria, Arizona and Great Floridian; Top finisher mixed 2-person team in the 160-mile Big Dog Duathlon; and 24-hours in the Old Pueblo endurance mountain bike race.

Throughout Christian’s life, he has had a drive and passion to excel in whatever field or interest his goals may be. Mr. John Murray, President, Co-Pilot

Mr. Murray is a current leader in the Default Services industry. He is a member of many nationwide REO organizations and networks, through which he has advised, spoken and served on boards. Through his many successful nationwide Key Realty offices, he has spent the last eight years dedicated to managing REO, investments, and Loss Mitigation and has evaluated multiple work flow, portal, and technology-based solutions for some of the industry's leading servicers. John has overseen either the brokerage or acquisition of over 5,550 properties since 2003 and continues to be ranked in the top 25 Realtors in the country by Wall Street Journal. As a real estate expert, Mr. Murray has made numerous radio and television appearances, and has been quoted in many news publications, such as The Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and New York Times. Prior to his Real Estate career, Mr. Murray served in the technology sector as CTO of a Fortune 500 company’s wireless subsidiary and spent the five years prior as an IT program manager for several Fortune 100 companies, including IBM Global Services. He has a BA from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. John has been serving the ongoing development of Realty Pilot’s suite of cutting-edge platforms.
